Collaborate

Creativity-Ability works with practitioners and organizations to strengthen how creative development is recognized, supported, and sustained. This can include collaboration with established progressive art studios and experienced practitioners, as well as organizations building new approaches to creative practice.

Emerging Practice

Creativity-Ability works with organizations developing studio arts programming for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including in communities where progressive studio practice has little or no established precedent.

This work can address the practical development of a studio alongside training that helps staff recognize creative development, respond to individual practices, and support sustained, ambitious growth.

C-A + DSPs

Creativity-Ability brings lessons from progressive studios into the broader landscape of human services. Training helps DSPs better recognize how someone engages, develops interests, makes decisions, and encounters new possibilities — and respond in ways that support continued personal and creative growth.

Engagements are shaped by the particular context and may include consultation, workshops, staff training, presentations, or longer-term partnerships. C-A also works with established studios to examine questions emerging from their own practice, strengthen shared language around facilitation and creative development, and make existing knowledge more visible across a studio community.
